Description: The morning assembly began with a prayer by the students. They prayed for the ability to learn new knowledge and skills. Sometimes students may find it hard to learn English. Our student-teacher Miss Chloe showed us some English mistakes Chinese students might make, such as ‘face green green’, ‘fly taxi’, and ‘black eye circle’. She taught the fellow schoolmates how to express these meanings in English properly and invited the students to read aloud the phrases together. The students have learnt a lot from her!
